On a dare, in my mid-forties, I went back to the university and finished my Bachelors in Art degree in studio art (with honors). I have won ribbons in the Pleasanton and Stanislaus County fairs in various media. I have shown work at the State Theatre as well as the Women’s Business association. I have shown at the Mistlin Gallery where I volunteer.
My newest passion is in pique assiete mosaic small furniture. I took a mosaic class at the Mistlin which morphed into my current projects. When I am not drawing or painting in various medium you can find me at home cutting away and creating functional as well as beautiful art in mosaic furniture.
