Pet Portraiture in Pastels, Olive – Step by Step
Creating a cherished portrait of an animal friend, (or person), can be one of the most emotional and rewarding things an artist can do. For many artists, creating an accurate representation may seem a daunting task. In this workshop for beginners through intermediate, we will use techniques that will help whatever the level of expertise. Participants will take home methods they can apply to future projects.
Instructor, Christine Obers has achieved Distinguished Pastelist status from the Pastel Society of the West Coast. She has also received Master Pastelist status from the Pastel Artists of Canada.
Saturday and Sunday, March 9th and 10th with an optional day on Monday, March 11th. The fee for the 2 day workshop is $170. The optional third day adds $85. (This third day would only be available to those who have completed the previous two days.) Class size is limited to 8 participants.
